FAQ
How long does it take to recharge a flat battery?
An indication of the time required to recharge a flat battery can be calculated by the following formula:

*Battery capacity in Ah x 1.25 / Charger rated output*

The time required by any device to fully charge a battery can be effected by environmental conditions and battery condition. If a battery remains connected to a vehicle whilst charging is undertaken it is possible electrical circuits that remain in operation whilst the vehicle is switched off could draw currents near equal to the output of the charger; under these circumstances the charger will remain in charge state longer than normal and in some instances not indicate the charge cycle has completed.

Will this charge a totally flat battery?

The charger analyses the battery condition and will not charge faulty batteries. A battery at 2.0V or less is considered to be faulty and will not recover. For batteries with a very low voltage, it would be worth considering disconnection of the battery from the car and allowing the battery voltage to recover before connecting the charger. If the standing voltage of a battery with no load applied is 2 Volts or less, replace the defective battery
