LED Reverse Lights for Truck, Van, Jeep & Trailer

This time of year is exactly when you need extra lights for reversing - so what lights can you install on your truck, van or 4x4 for extra visibility?

At Truck Electrics, we stock a range of certified reversing lights that can be wired up to existing reversing lights. These can be wired to come on when you put your vehicle in reverse gear - mounting the lamp correctly is of course important so that your new reverse lamps do not effect the visibility of other road-users.

Can I use LED Work Lamps as Reversing Lights?

In short, no. LED Work Lights provide a powerful flood beam that is excellent for your visibility - but can have a blinding effect for other road users.

However, if you really need a powerful flood beam to safely see your surroundings - you could install LED Work Lights or LED Scene Lights wired up via a separate switch. This way you can activate the lights when it is safe to do so and won't affect public safety.
